Plenty of Everton fans have been giving their verdict on the links to Porto winger Yacine Brahimi, and 73 per cent of fans think they should make a move in January.

According to The Express, Everton could be set to launch a bid for Brahimi this January.

The Algerian international, who has scored 44 goals and added 36 assists in 182 Porto appearances, will be out of contract next summer.

This puts Marcel Brands and Everton in a very strong negotiating position in January, but also means they won’t be the only team sniffing around.

The 28 year-old usually plays on the left wing, but pace and skill could be utilised from either flank, so he could be a replacement for Theo Walcott.

The Toffees’ attack has improved massively under Marco Silva, but Walcott has just two goals to his name so far this campaign.
