However, according to reports, Frankfurt will demand up to €100million (£86.3m/$113.6m) to part with their star forward this summer.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Rumours of a move to Arsenal sparked after Ekitike opened the scoring against Tottenham in the Europa League quarter-final first leg in north London. The 22-year-old replicated Thierry Henry's famous knee slide celebration against the club.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

The Gunners are not the only interested Premier League party in signing Ekitike. Manchester United are also reportedly keen on the Frankfurt man as they look to continue their rebuild under Ruben Amorim.

    WHAT NEXT FOR EKITIKE?

Frankfurt would prefer not to lose both Marmoush and Ekitike in the space of six months but with how the market is operated these days it would not be a surprise to see a European giant make a move for their prodigy and fork out the required fee to secure his signature.
