  Robinson has been a regular starter for Fulham over the last few years and has impressed with his performances for the Cottagers and also for the USMNT. As such, it has now been reported by The Sun, that Liverpool and Manchester United are ready to battle each other for the signing of the left-back.

However, with Robinson only being four years younger than the Scottish left-back, it is possible that the Reds view the USMNT star as a back-up rather than a replacement, something that may not be in Robinson's interests.
