Arsenal and Chelsea have both been linked with a move to try to sign Osimhen before the end of the summer transfer window. The Napoli star signed a new contract last summer with a €130 million (£110m/$145m) release clause but no club has thus far shown a willingness to trigger it. PSG were interested in Osimhen last summer and the striker would like to make that move, provided a new offer is tabled, per .

Arsenal are said to be hovering in the background, as they continue to monitor Osimhen's situation, while Chelsea have only proposed a loan, something Napoli are not willing to countenance. While PSG could table a bid this week, it is expected to fall below Napoli's minimum demand of €100m (£85m/$112m) and there remains a possibility that Osimhen will simply have to remain in Italy.
